TTG International LTD has been chosen as the supplier of Digital Recording and Central Archiving technology for Court Systems of the North Cyprus, High Court.
Istanbul, Türkiye – October 10, 2003 – The shift to digital audio recording systems in courtrooms around the world took another step forward today when the court system of High court of Northern Cyprus announced that it had selected TTG to equip all 23 courtrooms throughout the country.
The Northern Cyprus agreement was arranged through TTG International LTD, an authorized Systems Integrator for FTR Pty Ltd, the court digital audio technology supplier. TTG International LTD will handle installation and servicing of the equipment as well as installing its own software for the central archiving system, MAS/CAS for the high court.
Like many court systems, Northern Cyprus courts are adopting digital technology and a central archiving system for the recording and management of court testimony. The benefits include an upgrade in sound quality, improved information sharing, reduced archival and storage needs, and the provision of rapid, direct access to court transcripts equating to reduced costs.
TTG International LTD was selected because no other supplied system has as many features and such broad functionality as the FTR product family. This includes the best sound quality, easy installation and operation, open architecture, no need for an IT-centric centralized system, the ability to hyperlink courtroom notes to the audio record, and search capability by word or phrase via the time linked electronic log notes. As well as the central court archiving system (MAS/CAS) which is TTG’s product.
